The simple philosophy of this Margaret River red wine is: fruit richness, flavour and soft tannins. It abounds with rich red fruits, black currant, cocoa, chocolate and spice.
A true Northern Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz blend. The Cabernet and Shiraz were vinified separately and then blended after 16 months of barrel and tank maturation, final blend was 60% cabernet and 40% shiraz. The wine spent 12 months in new oak and will cellar up to ten years from vintage.
A great match with pasta or pizza!
60/40% cabernet sauvignon/shiraz. Matured for 16 months in a combinations of oak and tank. Fleshy, ripe, and a little bit spicy – all good things for the money.
